My wife, Carol, and I started this tour company to allow us to share with others our love of travel. We have met so many people that are timid travelers and would hesitate to venture to a new, unknown destination or to travel internationally. Our goal is to have you join us to travel and experience new places and leave the work and detailed planning to us. Our tours are small and we try to limit the maximum size to 8 guests. This way we are never on a big tour bus and you avoid getting lost in the crowd. We will show you how to move around a city like a local. We ride the local subway systems, local tuk tuks and an occasional cab when we are not riding in one of the chartered 10-person vans. We cover most expenses of the trip including the tips which can be confusing thing when traveling abroad. One thing we don’t cover is the alcohol drinks at meals.
We love food, so we always pick local restaurants that give a true flavor of the country we are in. We will usually select a Michelin Star restaurant for one fancy dinner per tour, but every meal is memorable, be it at a local hawker stand, old school dim sum restaurant, market, bistro, or café. We typically stay in 4-star hotels and try to stay in each location for at least 3 days at a time so you are not always packing and moving between hotels.
Every location on our tour will have a brief history of the locale and a day tour with a local guide which provides a great way to explore the sights and learn about the history and culture of the region. We like to have fun so every location has been pre-scouted to know what we will offer our travelers for great experiences. We do all sorts of fun activities like cooking classes, brewery tours, visits to local circuses and local artisan workshops for example.
